S&K supports the U.S. Air Force under contract Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability for Pods (RAMPOD), the official system of record for pods since 2000. These externally mounted devices, essential for enhancing aircraft warfighting capabilities, include Electronic Warfare, Precision Attack, Training, Test, and RADAR pods. RAMPOD tracks maintenance, status, and inventory data for over 5,000 pods, with a total acquisition value exceeding $7.2 billion.
In collaboration with Air Logistics and Engineering (ALAE), S&K is responsible for logistics and help desk support, while ALAE handles software, database administration, and compliance. Together, they ensure seamless operations in a “badgeless” work environment, contributing to the continued evolution of RAMPOD from a client-based to a fully integrated web-based system.
RAMPOD has expanded its scope to support integrated avionics systems like the B-1B Lancer and F-15 Tactical Electronic Warfare System, serving over 2,000 users globally. Its multi-service utility extends to the Army, Navy, and Marine units, positioning RAMPOD as a key maintenance tool across all branches of the military. S&K remains committed to enhancing the system and providing vital support to end-users worldwide.
